Spring Break :) phew......

Haha ok... So I finally got a few seconds to get on here and write about Spring Break... I was SO SO SO busy the entire time...

First of all we left Friday right after our Econ lab... which got over at like 9... we made it to texas by 6 so we could be there for day day's welcome back from college (from spring break) dinner :) it was SO SO SO good!!!! haha, i guess any food is good for starving college students right?? haha we played tons of games and just hung out and visited... i have to say i wrestled around with 5 boys all under the age of 6 and lexi... haha that was not a fair fight but i held my own... they would jump over my back and i would have to flip them over... let's just say i was a little sore the next day when we went to the mall :) but it was fun :) this is how i looked after wrestling with all those boys :)

Anyways we stayed there until monday and drove all the way to k-town that day (i think about 11 or 12 hours) you would have to ask kenny because adaryan and i did most of the sleeping while he did most of the driving :) but we had to go then because bratty's birthday was tuesday and i couldn't miss it :)

so once we got to k-town it seems like we went 120mph the entire time we were there... it's hard to see ALL of both our families, but i think we do pretty good :) So tuesday we had dinner at my grandma's house for bratty's birthday :) so good... we ate lasagna... she just turned 11 wow huh?? she is so amazing i love her so much! we played canasta because that is what she requested... haha and our team won :) go us!! (bratty, me, and dav) wednesday we ran around town kenny got a cool new phone then we went to a dinner at the church (friend's scouting dinner) then rented movies to watch with my family.... thursday was my dad's and my brother's birthday... so we had another dinner at my grandma's... jaeden is 9 i can't believe it he is getting so big... and we played yahtzee i pretty much kicked butt then too :) oh and p.s. i got sick during this whole thing too (from dav ughhhh) :) friday we drove to cortez to see my brother Tristan play in the varsity baseball tournament... haha yes he is a freshman and playing varsity... he made the last 2 outs for the game playing second base... he is SO tall now haha beats me by like 5 or 6 inches lol... haha then after the game steph and i got all dressed up to go out with the boys... we suggested the dollar movie but they chose outback :) so we got ready and went to eat... we talked and laughed and had a blast!! haha while brycee was seeing if his teams were winning :)

saturday, this is when it really got crazy... bratty had a soccer game at 11, and there was also a breakfast at kenny's house... how are we supposed to be in two places at once?? haha well let me tell u... i stayed for bratty's game and my mom got me roped into sidelining lol... haha stacey was pretty proud i could remember all the signals lol... so after that bratty and i ran to kenny's ate some breakfast... visited with his family... it was like 1:30 by this time... so we went over to aunt june's to talk to her for a little bit and say bye... then over to nana and papa's to say bye... by this time it was like 2:25... we then went to ktown to get a note to take my sis from the track meet after she ran cuz she was way sick... haha the thing was she ran at 3 and it was already 2:35 and we were still in ktown... how do you make it to aztec in 25 minutes? especially when the la plata bridge is out and you hit every light?? i have no idea but we did it... all the way to koogler and i got to see my sis run... she looked so good and ran a 65 400 WOW and she is WAY sick... she's amazing :) so afterwards we got everythin together said goodbye to my family and headed to alb... we left about 630 (because andi flew out of alb the next day at 6am to southlake) phew.... what a week... oh let me add everyday we were up by at least 7 running around with family and watching the kids (kayden and lex) for stef while she did her bus run :) no sleepin in for us!

Finished my last test before SPRING BREAK yay!

So... I thought I had better not start slacking on this blog stuff so early... I guess I just forget with school and stuff...

But I have been thinking alot... I guess I am the type of person that tries so hard to keep people in my life... I guess I don't realize that there may be some that just don't want to be there... A friendship is not something you can do on your own, it just doesn't work that way (or man would I been good at having friendships) lol... But then when you find those people, the ones that you have worked so hard to keep... And they come to YOU... Like just a random call or a random to text to see how things are going or even just to let you know what they are up to... There is no better feeling in the world... That's how it has been lately with Lindz... I spend everynight over there... And she wants me there... Or she will send me random texts just to say hi... And that she loves me... Those are the people that you NEED in your life... Haha there are also a few other people that send random texts my way and I truly appreciate them (Kelcy) :) Those are the people that are worth holding onto... It's just hard to realize who has that friendship potential and who you are just holding onto for no reason....

Haha... I guess that is just a little spill I have been thinking about lately... Haha I guess you could say I'm notorious for holding onto people that don't want to be held... But anyways, let's see now for the update part... Kelcy and Kelsea and Nick came to see me last weekend :) It was a blast I wished they could've stayed longer, ugh but we still don't have our house... Next time guys next time :) We went shopping :) YAY!! Haha and Nick and Kenny did so good... No complaining at all :) lol... But I just thought I would post a few pictures of our trip... Haha pretty sure Kelsea wanted to kill me, I kept making her take pictures with me :) yay!! I love you guys so much!!

Other then these few little "fun" moments that seem to find their way into my life, I have just been busy with school... But I have noticed that these little moments are what keep me sane... Thank-goodness... I only have one more test, tomorrow, Bio204 ugh! I have lab tonight, 8 page paper and a 20 minute presentation... Yay 7-10 (long right??) And then Friday econ lab and then off to TEXAS!!! I am definitely ready for a break :) SPRING BREAK! We're going to Texas for a little while and then we are gonna go back home because my sister, brother, and dad's birthday are all during the week that i have spring break :) can't wait to see everyone!! (haha getting better huh, didn't get TOO carried away) :) MUAH

Just a Lil' Update...... :)

Haha... I know it's been awhile since I've been on, but I have just been SUPER busy... School seems to do that to you I guess...

Hmm... What has happened in my life lately? Not a whole lot... But if you haven't heard my best friend is FAMOUS lol... Yes the one that swallowed her engagement ring... I hope you're having tons of fun KK... But I miss ya! So come back now ok :) And I guess if you come back you can finally get some sleep :) Haha... LOVE YOU!

I have a lot to be thankful for... I have a handful of the most amazing friends a person could ask for... I wouldn't say I have a million friends, but the ones that I hold close to my heart I know will never ever leave... And I am thankful for that... I guess I just want to say no matter what comes into my life... You will know :) And I hope you all will do the same... Don't forget/replace those friends for they are few and far between... It may seem hard when some things come up that are more important, but I promise they come back... They want you in your life just as much as you want them, but you both have to work... Remember puzzles? They aren't easy but they are always worth it :) Put the time and effort in and you won't be disappointed......

Also, God has blessed me with a wonderful family... I have never had such a supportive team on my side... They really are amazing... It is so nice to have my aunts and uncle here... At times they are what keep me going... School keeps me busy/frustrated... But coming home to hang out with them is worth all the frustration i could possibly experience... And Kenny, what do I say about Kenny... He can make me laugh, he keeps me in line and keeps me on track... He really holds me up so much and I don't know how I could ever thank him enough... I am so happy that he is able to go to school with me... Haha he is definitely the smart one out of the two of us... He has to teach me stuff all the time :) God has also granted me a mind... One in which I am able to think, speak, learn, laugh, cry... They are all blessings in their own way... God has given me so much... I mean I complain about school sometimes, but I am lucky enough to be going to school. There are so many people that can't... Life can get crazy/hectic/frustrating... But when you can't find the bright side, polish the dull side :) Things happen for a reason, people are in your life for a reason, but at the end of the day... Remember who got you there, God, your family, your friends....... :)Aren't we such a good-lookin family ;)

Let's see what else... I guess I have been thinking about my sister a lot lately... I cannot believe that she will be graduating soon... But I am also SO SO SO excited for her to come up here and go to school with me :) I CANNOT WAIT!!! haha... She is so amazing, and has taught me so much over the years... It's so nice for you sister to be your best friend... I don't know what I would do without her... Yah I'm the older sister, but sometimes I feel like it's the other way around... No matter, we have each other to lean on... I miss you Davy-Doo!!!!

Puzzles......

So... I don't know how many of you do puzzles... But I do... They can get so frustrating, yet so addicting... We had a puzzle, one of those photomosaics, and it took us forever to get it all put together, but now it's framed and is never coming apart again :)

Haha so I bet you're wondering why the heck I'm talking about puzzles... Well I guess I have just been thinking alot lately... About life in general... I guess what I'm saying is that life is like one big puzzle... Except you have to pay close attention to where you fit the pieces together... I recently realized that I had a piece that wasn't fitting right in the border of my puzzle... I tried and tried to replace that "piece" with other "pieces" and they just never fit... Without the outside of the puzzle put together it's pretty hard to put the rest of it together...

Anyways I think I finally found the pieces that fit... There have been people that I have fallen away from, and always KNEW they needed to be in my life... And they're back :) (I think she knows who I'm talking about) But I guess if we never had gone our seperate ways we wouldn't have the rest of the pieces of the border and those are equally important... I have some amazing people in my life now a days... And I could not choose to dispose of any of them over any of the others... They all play an important role... But I truly am thankful to have my puzzle piece back in my life :) I have needed you!!

A sidenote to this story: don't worry so much about trying to MAKE someone fit into your puzzle, sometimes they just don't fit quite how you would like them to... Also, don't center your entire puzzle around one piece, you have to remember all the other pieces that make the final product. You may have a favorite piece, but you need them all... Trust me, when you lose one piece nothing feels right... Life's a puzzle, and it can be stressful and frustrating, but when all the pieces start fitting together perfectly, you just have to smile :) and be thankful that you never quit and put it all back in the box...

I guess the reason I am writing this, is because I have had a lot of time to think this week... Ugh it has been so hard and so frustrating... My really good friend had a traumatic experience last week and I dropped everything to be with her... That really took an emotional toll on me, RIP Jere... Then I had 4 tests in 3 days... (yes only one more left tomorrow) So trying to balance that with everything else was difficult... But afterwards, looking back I'm so glad I didn't throw the puzzle back in the box... I'm a few steps closer to completing the puzzle :)

So I just want to say thanks to all the "pieces" in my puzzle... I am so thankful for you all! And glad that you fit the way you do :) I have some amazing pieces and wouldn't trade them for the world... So just remember, when you get frustrated with your puzzle, remember how long and hard you worked to get the pieces together that fit... It would be a shame to rip them all apart and put them back in the box... Look forward to the end product, it WILL be worth it!!!!!

Birthday... Whoo Whoo!!!

haha so I guess I better put something on here about my birthday... It was February 4th... I know why didn't I post something ON my birthday? Well I didn't really do a whole lot ON my birthday... Kenny bought me 4 pairs of shoes :) And yes he picked them all out by himself :) yay!! They are all way cute... (I haven't taken pics of the shoes yet, but I will post some later) :) And my aunts took me out to get my hair did :) It's DARK now :) I think I like it! But other then that I couldn't go out or anything cuz first of all my birthday was on a wednesday... AND i had class from 7 to 10 at night... lame i know... So that was my birthday...

Since I wasn't able to go out n do anything... I had to wait til the weekend... Friday during the day Kenny took me out to lunch, Red Robin, Yummm :) and we went and watched He's just not that into you... Hope he's not sending me a sign right?? Haha it was really cute... Then Friday night, a bunch of my friends took me and juanita out (we have the same birthday) we went to applebees :) And after dinner Kenny me candida and lloyd went out... we stayed out til about 1 I have SO Much fun with them :) I love it... So you would think that would all add up to a pretty dang good birthday right?? Haha well it's not over yet...

Saturday... Kenny took me SHOPPING :) haha yes he volunteered lol... So we went to Coronado Mall first looked in about 15 stores, and I wasn't really feeling anything in any of them... So Kenny decided we should go to Cottonwood, we got there looked in 10 more stores, and finally ended up in Bloom... Haha Kenny went around picking out shirts for me to try on, I picked out shirts for me to try on and I ended up getting like 9 shirts or something like that... Haha we were "shopping" for about 4 hours... And he didn't complain once... haha :) So for my birthday, I got shoes, movies, dinner, clothes... (haha also coming soon, pics of the shirts lol, haha)MY FAVORITES :) haha... And to finish up my birthday weekend, we were LAZY :) watched 4 episodes of house, and did some homework yes :) very fun!! lol...

Superbowl 43....

So I guess I'm gonna try this blogging thing out. Where to start :) I guess the most recent thing in my life was Superbowl 43... Can you believe we have had 43 Superbowls?? Haha and I have been alive not even for half of them... Steelers vs. Cardinals.... I was definitely pulling for the Cardinals. Kurt Warner has an amazing story. How he met his wife, his son, his life before NFL. It all really is amazing. Haha and I guess he is a good quarterback :) But anyways Superbowl Sunday isn't really about football is it?? lol. It's more about spending time with family and eating way too much food, kinda like Thanksgiving... And that's exactly what I did. I got to spend time with my family... We ate way too much junk, hot wings, bbq wings, homemade cinnimon rolls, chips, con queso... THEN Kenny made fajitas and we had frontier tortillas and let me tell you, you can't eat just one of those, even if you are completely stuffed...

I don't know if any of you had the 3D glasses for after the 2nd quarter but it was pretty cool when the paddle ball jumped completely out of the screen... and yes we ALL wore our glasses :)

I guess other then that all I have been up to is school, school and school... More to come, stay tuned :)
