...****....October....****...

Ok... Well I'm not gonna even go with the busy excuse again... We all know how that is right??

Well... The month of October seems to have flown by... I honestly don't know where it went... My sister turned 19, Davynne, on October 17th... We went home for fall break that weekend... (I think she was a little homesick, which is understandable she has not really gotten to go home since May)... In that short weekend (Thursday,Friday,Saturday, part of Sunday) We managed to go to doctor's appointments, get our hair cut, get family pictures, go to the kirtland vs. shiprock football game, have a birthday dinner and see all of both my families... There really is not enough time to do everything I wanted to...

But I did want to say thank-you to Brandi for doing our pictures!! She is SO SO SO amazing, and I really cannot say that enough... We had an hour timeframe to get our pictures done... This was the only time my family could be together on Thursday and my dad was flying out Friday... So there simply was no way around this ONE HOUR timeframe we gave her to work with... Poor thing... And guess what?? She not only made it happen, but the pictures look AMAZING :) she is so good at what she does :) I would post pictures, but I left that up to my mom (I don't know why I should have just picked them and had Brandi get them to us haha) So who knows when I will have those to put up :) But trust me on this one :) They look cute :)

Ok so towards the end of October... Well we had some grand plans... I was going to be a bee and Kenny was going to be a terrorist :) weird I know... But things didn't work out that way... We actually went out to dinner with a friend that had a very terrible thing happen to her (some of you may know, but I don't want to put it out for the world to know, so shoot me an e-mail if you're dying to know) but anyways Kenny and I have been trying to help her through this situation... She is an unbelievably strong girl and I have no idea how she is the way she is... But I am thankful for her... So needless to say we didn't go out at all on Halloween... I had not slept in 72 hours straight... And we sat down to watch the Oregon vs. USC game we had recorded (GO OREGON!!!!) And we ended up falling asleep on the couch because we were so exhausted...

However, we did carve a pumpkin :) It pretty much rocks not gonna lie :) I will post pictures of that too probably tomorrow sometime... Or soon :) I just wanted to get on here and give you a short update of October for all of you that are curious :) I hope you all had a great October.... Ready or not November, and daylight savings time, here we come :) On the upside only 6 more weeks of school left yes!!! And I only have 10 more classes to complete my Bachelor's YAY!!!!

**Dark Horse**

Ok... So i have figured out that I am not very good at this blogging thing... My excuse I am so dang busy!! Haha I know that's the excuse most of us use... But I honestly feel like ALL I DO IS SCHOOL!! Seriously, two days a week I am in class basically 10 to 10 (an hour break in between for some lunch)... And I still have classes all day the other three days of the week... And when I'm not in class then I'm doing a gazillion tons of homework... It never ends... Never... But some positive to all this negative... I only have 10 classes until I have my degree and then into MedSchool (hopefully, cross our fingers)... Ok so enough complaining... :)

Ok... So rewind... On 9/9/09 I went to a Nickelback concert *my absolute favorite band in the world by the way* And yes I skipped my 7 to 10 o clock class in order to go :) shame on me... Anyways I have only been to a few concerts in my lifetime :) But this was by far THE MOST AMAZING CONCERT IN THE WORLD!!! The concert included, Saving Abel, Papa Roach, Hinder and Nickelback... I was unsure how Saving Abel would sound (as they are newer than the rest of them) But I was so impressed by them... They were funny and very good at entertaining the crowd, and they sounded amazing... They played 18 days for Our Troops which I thought was really cool... Then... Papa Roach came on... I have loved Papa Roach forever, I also watch Scarred for this reason (well partly) He came on and sound fantastic... He really impressed me when he sang the last chorus of Scars in spanish!! Wow!! Then Hinder... I think they played the least amount of songs but they were all spectacular. Ok so for these first 3 bands we were sitting in the grass seats (yes we are CHEAP) However, my cousin and a couple family friends called us and said they had a few extra pit passes if we wanted them... HECK YES!! So we were front and center, ok maybe a little off to the left, but IN THE FRONT for Nickelback... This was like a dream come true for me... Thanks guys :) Let me tell you they put on such an amazing show! The drummer had his own drum solo when everyone else left the stage and he was so good! They also brought all the other bands that performed out on stage to sing some covers with them... Bon Jovi--Wanted...That's just the one I can remember, haha cuz even writing about this I get so excited... I will ask Kenny the other covers when I put up the pictures :) and a few other...(these were seperate from their other songs) I think total Nickelback played 21 songs... Old and New...

I have never screamed so much in my ENTIRE life... I left the concert barely being able to talk... I thought, man I came so close to completely losing my voice... The next day however, my voice was gone... I could talk but barely... You know how when you lose your voice you sound like a smoker, well I was past that stage... And something that was so funny was I tried to scream, like tried really hard to scream and nothing came out... So pretty sure I COMPLETELY lost my screaming voice for about 3 days... It was crazy... And I think because of this, my throat being hurtin, I got sick... Ugh... But if I had to do it all over again... Would i?? MOST DEFINITELY!! Sick, losing my voice! EVERYTHING!!!

So I guess I might be a little biased but I thought the concert was ENTIRELY amazing... So if Nickelback ever plays a concert close to you, I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommed going... It is worth every penny!!!!

P.S. No pictures on this blog cuz currently my pictures are stuck in my camera... Ugh.. I have an SD slot in my computer where I Just stick the card in, but for some reason it's not reading them... So, I am going to have to find time to take the card to walmart and put the pictures on a CD... We will see when that happens, hopefully soon :)

*.....Butterflies.....*

Ok... So I went on my first roadtrip home ALONE last Wednesday... Good, but interesting... So let me rewind first...

Well I have been babysitting my cousins all of last week, and we went to my aunt's house to swim... We were in the pool for maybe a whole hour because it was like we were swimming in the freezer... Ugh.. But anyways, out of nowhere this HUGE black and yellow butterfly swam over the pool... All three of us stopped and just stared at it... Well we then got out of the pool and went over to my other aunts house to help put up a fence (about 5 miles down the road) and while we were putting up the fence, again this huge yellow and black butterfly was hovering overhead... I had to just stop and stare.... I have not seen any butterflies around here ever, and I saw 2 butterflies that looked exactly the same...

So anyways, moving on, the significance of the butterfly? Well, as some of you may know my cousin Brittany Currier died during my sophomore year in highschool... She was my best friend. But back to the butterfly... When they did the drinking and driving seminar thing at the high school she was in it.. .And they had to write a letter to friends and family as if they had died... Well at the end of her letter she wrote, "everytime you see a butterfly, think of me, know I am there, listen closely to the beating of the wings, hear my voice in the wind as I am carried away." So every single time I see a butterfly I think of her... So I was already thinking of her, and I packed up to drive home at about 5...

Well on the way home Britt and Dars cross are on the side of the road... And the entire drive there I was anticipating those crosses... I didn't know how I would react, especially being alone. Anyways, so mile marker 110... I came to their crosses and all of a sudden the song switches to Who You'd Be Today by Brad Paisley.... I just started bawling... And I look over at the crosses and there were 2 black and yellow butterflies hovering over the crosses... I just could not believe it... (idk what's up with the prius advertisement... "i'm gay" haha if you've seen jeff dunham)

I have been missing her alot lately... And I guess I needed those butterflies to realize that she is never very far... It has been so long ago since this happened... But I still remember exactly when I found out... I hit my back against the counter and just slid to the floor... She is always in my thoughts... But I am very thankful for those little butterfly reminders... :)

Now that I got you all down... Let me bring you up... Well continuing my drive home... I was in NAPI and I was pretty upset because Kenny had not called me, and he was like really worried about me driving home, but I had not heard from him... So I was upset... Well anyways I had dropped my Sprite on the floor and picked it up to take a drink... Well I opened it and it exploded EVERYWHERE all over me... I just had to smile and laugh... I knew that was Britt telling me to stop being stupid, I knew Kenny was trying to call me something else was wrong... So here I am sitting with Sprite all over and just alone in my car laughing out loud... Loser I know... But I guess I think we just need to pay attention to all the little things... The people we lose never really leave us... Oh and about the calls, Kenny tried calling 9 times... My phone is not the greatest and never got them...

So all in all I made it home safely... A few bumps and butterflies later... But I made it :)

I'm still Alive :)

Man, I am definitely no good at this blogging... I get on to see how everyone else is doing and never write anything...

Well my camera is still on the fritz, it came back and they fixed the lens, but now it won't read the memory card, so I have to send it in again ugh... What a PAIN!

This month has been really busy for us! We have been home every weekend for one thing or another... It has been alot of fun, but the drive does get old... But I am thankful that we live this close to family and are able to go home for not very much :) We are going home today as well... Kenny has to get his foot x-rayed, we gotta see if he is gonna have to have surgery afterall (he broke his foot back in june and has had a walking boot) so we will see, I hope he doesn't have to. :( anyways, we get to stay home until monday this weekend, so it won't be AS quick of a trip...

My sister is in Hawaii until next wednesday... Lucky I know!! I am gonna finish up my Physics class next thursday (well this thursday)... I am so excited, and then I get 2 weeks off until I start the next semester! I am hoping that we can go camping one of those weekends... I have not been this entire summer and I'm bummed...

Well... I'm gonna borrow my grandma's camera for this weekend... So hopefully I will have a few pictures to put up soon!

South Padre Sun :)

So I know I told you guys that my camera is broken, and it is... But I do have a few pictures from our trip, at least of the first day...

We went to South Padre Island for Dav's "Senior Trip" I guess you could say... I had so much fun... I love my family so much and really am so lucky! We had a blast!! We laughed the whole week :) But anyways I think I wrote some about my trip in the blog before this... So this one is mostly just to add a few pictures :)

But good news... I sent my camera off friday... so hopefully it will be in soon and then i can take pictures of everything else that has been going on :)

Haha yah she graduated... But I am pretty sure she will ALWAYS be a kid at heart :)

Can you believe how big Jaeden is getting?? I can't... He is so much fun and has grown up so much... Haha I think he looks like a little frog here :)
We all tried so hard to do this... Haha but it was alot harder than it looked... Tris and I decided we were just too heavy, because we could never do it... Haha and we were right... It was made for people under 80 pounds!!
Doesn't he look so graceful :)

Haha he ALMOST got it... But then the board just sunk and he ate it :) But it was still fun!!
He has grown SO SO SO much! You all would be so surprised... He is pushing 5'11 now and he is only a freshman... Well I guess a sophomore now... But he dwarfs me now :(
Haha this is Bratty she actually did pretty good on this thing... But don't get me wrong this sand boarding thing had us all eating sand :)

Haha this is probably the best picture I have of me sand boarding haha... Pretty much all the time I was on the ground haha... But it was still fun :)

Aww... All the kids playing in the ocean the first day :)

Wow... When I went to look at the pictures I had from South Padre Island (I was thinking I only had like 20... haha I guess I went a little picture taking crazy... I actually had 142... In one day, I know that is a little much right :) But hey at least I finally got some pictures on here :)

Ugh!

Ugh... So I took my camera to South Padre Island... and it worked the very first day... After that when I would go to turn it on it would start to and then turn right back off... Ugh! So I need to send it in and get it fixed... So needless to say there won't be any pictures on this blog either :(

So we went to South Padre Island and we had a blast... It has been so long since our family has laughed that hard... To see my dad in tears because he was laughing so hard was so awesome... We went deep sea fishing and caught a 55 pound fish (no joke!!) I will definitely post pictures of that as soon as I get them!! But my mom and I tried to reel him in and he literally almost threw us both overboard!! It was kinda scary! We were sure we just snagged the bottom of the boat because it was THAT HEAVY!!

Then we went to the waterpark... schlitterbann... it was so much fun... You literally stay in the tube the entire time... I mean you go around a lazy river in your tube, and there are like "exits" off the lazy river to the rides... So you NEVER get outta your inner tube... LAZY huh?? But we had so much fun :) Dav and I put sunscreen on, but were SO SO SO SO burnt by the end of that day... (Again I will try to find another picture eventually) But I am definitely a white girl... And I burn and peel, that's about it... I was hoping for a tan but pretty sure that is not going to happen...

Other then that trip I have just been super busy with school... today alone I went to the school to work on my homework... 3 hours to do 5 problems... UGH! So you can see how much time that takes up!! But it's ok... This weekend we will be going home, Andi just got a total knee replacement so we want to go see her and make sure she is ok... But ya... I will post another soon... HOPEFULLY with pictures :) Love ya!

Slackin.....

Haha so I know I have been slackin on the blog lately... I just get so busy and find other things to do... But I know that's no excuse :) Anyways, I'm on Kenny's computer (because I forgot mine at home this past weekend) so sadly this blog will not have any fun pictures :(

But no worries I will post lots of fun pictures later!!! So, I have started my summer class... I actually started it 2 days after my Spring semester ending... So needless to say I didn't get much of a break... But it turns out my family and I are going to South Padre (in Texas) for my sister's "senior trip" for a week :) We are leaving Sunday!! So that should be lots of fun, who knows maybe I will get somewhat of a tan while I am there!!

Hmm... We are still unpacking boxes (and yes it is driving me CRRRRAZY!) I feel that we should already be completely unpacked and it is just not happening... Dav is movin into this madness today :) So that should be fun! I'm so excited for my sister to come and live with me!!! YAY!!! Well I just wanted to let those of you that read this thing that I am still alive and kicking, just busier than ever :) Haha I will post fun blogs with pictures later :) LOVE YA!
